I have downloaded over 3,500 artists in several genres, and over 10,700 CDs. And if I don’t have a song that you want, if I have access to WiFi’ I can use Spotify. And I add more CDs every week.
On my website, the buttons that probably will be the most important to you would be:
- “Music by type, artist & CD’s”, to look at what artist I have.
- “Equipment”, to look at what equipment and table throws that I have
- “Sample Playlist”, when I first started playing in 2016, I used a playlist which will give you a good idea of how I did arrange the music, but I have learned through playing for dance clubs and private parties that playlist don’t really work, but taking request is what makes and gives the best results. From Mommy and Me dances [the children were 4 and 5 years old], an early 80’s class reunion, teen dances sponsored by a church, I have taken requests, they had a blast.
- Dance clubs where I was given a playlist to use, their playlist was a big flop. I have found that by taking requests everybody has a great time. My philosophy is that when you and your guest give me requests, that is what makes the party.
- Karaoke, if you want karaoke, click on the “Karaoke” button to see what my karaoke song request form looks like. Karaoke at a private event as an extra, not the main part of the party, is an extra $50.00.
I play regularly several Hillsborough County facilities where I play English & Latin music, playing one Latin song then one English song. With Latin music, I play Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, along with some Punta & Cumbia. I have both English and Spanish request forms on my website under the “Sample Playlist” button. I bring these request forms to any event that I play.
I have downloaded music of artists from several languages.
Private parties and private events are only listed on my calendar [without an address], just to show that a date is already booked.
