Plant City Social Dance

Plant City Social Dance will have a dance on Saturday, February 22ND, at Strawberry Square Dance Center. This dance will be social dancing, where we have a 3,000 square foot floating wood floor to dance on. Social dancing includes slow dances, waltzes, line dances, cha-cha and rumbas, two-step and country slow, swing, free style and some Latin dances. Ballroom dancers can dance to most of this music also. We do have a singles table set up. Singles and younger generation people are welcome. Come dance to the music by DJ Ken Miller. This event is now being posted on Facebook (friend me on Facebook to read it there) and in the Nextdoor app.

Complementary dance lessons, from 6PM to 6:30PM. Beginners to advanced. Basic fundamentals of social dancing to advanced social dancing.

From Lakeland or Plant City

Set #1, US 92, (this is the best way because I4 is prone to accidents)

US 92 west through Plant City. After you go past the Strawberry Festival grounds, go to the flashing yellow light and turn right onto Whitehurst Rd. You will go past the Whitehurst Baptist Church on the left, then go past a 55 plus MHP on the left. Watch for a paved road on the left, and turn left onto Boot Bay Rd. They are on the left, and the building that we dance in will have big red letters on the front of it that say Strawberry Square.

Set #2, I4

Go west on I4 to exit 17. At the end of the ramp, turn left. After you go under I4, you will see a fruit stand on the left. At this point, turn left onto Beauchamp Rd. They will be on the right.
